Youth in EU and China



Coordinator from China Guiming came to Poland on the 2nd of April to take part in a programme that is called Youth in EU and China: Working Together to Common Challenges, mostly to see how international voluntary service is organized in Poland.
Here is his self presentation:

Hello, I’m Guiming Wu (Jerry) from Beijing,China, I’m the coordinator in CEYEA (China and EU Youth Exchange Association ). I work for Youth Federation in Renmin University of China and CEYEA, also coordinate some projects of CUMU(China University Media Union),China Guanghua Foudation and some other Youth Federations. I’m here in Warsaw for the job-shadowing in SPW(FIYE) ,which will last for a month, in the project of “China and EU, working together to common challenges”. Hope I can learn more about how to operate a NGO, system of EVS, work camps. Then take the experience with me back to China, to start the long journey for volunteering work in there.

Now just short information about Youth in EU and China.
This is a project, that is supported by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission in the frame of “Youth in Action” programme. The project consist of a series of meetings plus local actions in Europe, China and South East Asia.
