EVS mid-term training in Kazimierz Dolny.

“Dear Volunteers,

Your organization enrolled you on the MID TERM training that is going to take place in Kazimierz Dolny, 04 – 09 May 2015.

.
.
.
This training is an obligatory part of your EVS.”

This is a fragment of the e-mail which I got from National Agency for the Erasmus+ programme. Not that the e-mail surprised me - my coordinator had told me about the training before, and sooooo - on 4th of May me and Giorgia (another EVS volunteer from SPW) found our bus and we started our journey to Kazimierz.

Finally all volunteers from Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Latvia, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine met there: our group consisted of 18 EVS volunteers from 11 countries and 2 trainers! So there was no way to get bored! :)

And since this training is (among other aims) made also to support volunteers’ planning and reflecting their own learning process/progress, we talked a lot… in pairs, smaller groups, bigger groups..

We got to know each other a bit, we discussed some issues regarding our projects, we exchanged some experiences, got and gave some advices.

And I took an opportunity to make interview with other volunteers and ask them some basic questions concerning they projects and decisions to do the EVS. (I would really ask more and got o more details sometime, but unfortunately it was not possible – due to the lack of time to make some additional talks apart from activities and talks proposed by trainers.)

Soon we will publish the answers of young people - EVS volunteers – who came for their projects to Poland. Why they actually came to Poland, why for EVS project, what they miss here...

Stay connected! :)
