After quite some time of preparation and planning - the day has finally come – 19.06.2015!
Dzień gier z wolontariuszami in Helenów.
(Centre for Rehabilitation, Education and Care "Helenów" is hosting organisation of our 3 EVS volunteers.)
In spite of our original plans and hopes for nice and sunny weather it was raining quite hard – so we had to stick to our alternative plan and organize the game day inside. Space there was a bit smaller than we hoped for :) but we “rearranged” some activities and the event went finally well.
Children were busy with matching countries with their Capitals, learning some new words in foreign languages (languages of us – EVS volunteers), coloring our countries on map, getting to know some more interesting information about countries etc.

And when they finished with the tasks – or before they actually started – volunteer Sasha took great care of them and entertained them with playing guitar and singing. Later, when shyness disappeared they even joined and sang along.
And again – like after every intercultural meeting – we hope that children enjoyed it! (And will remember some infromation as well :) )
