EUROPAMOBIL
As you
already know SPW together with Europamobil visited upper secondary schools in
Kozienice (LO im. St. Czarnieckiego) and Otwock (LO im. K. I. Gałczyńskiego).
"Europe-Mobile"
is a mobile project promoting European diversity and mobility to pupils. In
order to do this, students from different European countries travel with a bus,
"the Europe-Mobile", and visit schools in one region.
On 13th
September 2 volunteers: Lusine and Zoe and their coordinator went to Kozienice,
a small town 85 km south from Warsaw. After the official opening with games and
song prepared by Europamobil team, the mobility fair started.
We prepared
the information part and some games for students to have fun. The time was very
interesting and instructive for some students, the winners of the games got
prizes – t-shirts and buttons.
The following
day SPW went to another town – Otwock. The team has changed – Zoe was replaced
by Cristina and Anne, volunteers from Sociotherapy Centre for Youth “Jedrus” in
Jozefow.
Now the
students in Otwock and Kozienice also know about SPW and international
voluntary service: workcamps and European Voluntary Service.
