The day of
Pultusk
On the 23rd
of September the volunteers Corinna and Lusine went to Pultusk to help a local
association Centrum Miedzynarodowej Wymiany Mlodziezy i Wolontariatu to promote
international voluntary service. In Pultusk, together with an EVS volunteer in
Pultusk, Zoe, coordinator Sylwia and with the head of the SPW office Pani Anna
organized the pavilion where they were introducing their services.
In Pultusk there
was an open-air market where different companies were offering their products. There
were also people offering hand made things for example jewellery,
toys, cookies and so on. Open-air concert was also the way in which they
welcomed the people.
The day
passed very quickly and we did not even feel the cold and the wind which was blowing
almost all the time.
The
information part was introducing the coordinator Sylwia together with Pani
Anna. Corinna was painting children’s faces with the flag of the country which
they preferred. Lusi and Zoe were organizing the games.
There was a map game,
quiz, true or false etc.
Two boys, who
were very cunning, played the game two times and won two t-shirts. We noticed
that only when we looked at the paper, on which the names of the boys who were
playing were written. Good job boysJ
So the day
was finished with handing in the certificates to the companies, who took part
in that event.
