SPW – FIYE Poland has joined the project EC4LA
(Europeans Citizens for Local Actions). From 21 to 25 February a
conference opening the project took place in Hotel President in Athens.
Representatives of many European countries, for example from Italy, Estonia, Belgium, Poland, Austria France and Germany took part in the event. They shared their good practice on local level.
The conference lasted 3 days. During this time the participants had an occasion to listen very interesting speeches about work of other associations, shared their experience with other participants, worked in groups and had some discussions. The next day they organised celebration for the 27th birthday of Elix - association, which hosted the conference in Greece. That day the participants were also in Akropolis Museum, had some sightseeing. In the evening - typical Greek supper in Taverna.
