Having a coffee with Angelika Osak and Anna Kameduła

Cheers from Pultusk!

It is already the end of October, you can feel the winter air coming so there are always reasons to have a cup of tea or coffee. Last saturday Sylwia Jędra my coordinator and I decided to go to Warsaw to meet the EVS volunteers from Poland Anna Kameduła (EVS Romania 2015-2016) and Angelika Osak (EVS Wales, UK 2015-2016). Maybe you remember some details about their projects.

Here you can check their amazing article talking about it:

After the warm tea and be in a really nice environment (our cool office in Warsaw 😊) we started to talk about EVS life. We discover other face of each project and by my side I am so glad I participated in the meeting. At the beginning we made a fast scanner about the experience abroad. They said that there was more positive things gaining the bad ones.

It is normal to find other country very different and feel disoriented at the beginning, always with time thing turn out and we discover that the thing that was a problem it is not anymore. It is about time at they said. Each project was very far from the other in some point of view but also with some similitudes in the way each one live the situation.
Angelika's memories from Wales.
Talking about professional development each volunteer express that they have a lot of knowledge in different fields that fill their interests. Before EVS it is really common to felt a little confuse or over thinker about the future, there is a moment in EVS life and an after that just appear in front of you and tell you what things are you with and the potential you did not know it about yourself. They communicated some of their new projects and how most of them are related with EVS experience.

Was compelling to find what things impacted more the volunteers after EVS. One was about the feeling of became more European. The feeling of been part of the union. By other hand the conscience of the situation abroad and how resolve circumstances and adapted to the culture.

Time pass so fast. And after sharing our experiences in EVS we made an agreement to continue working together and some chances of make so workshops to share all the knowledge with the community.

This was our Gadu-gadu meeting on Saturday. We are so happy to share this and more evs adventures with you!

Keep in touch!

Cheers from the venice of Mazovia!
